In October 2024, we made a significant decision to form a capital and business alliance with Hillhouse Investment Management, marking an important step forward as we transition to the next stage of growth.
Since our founding in December 1982, our group has operated as a comprehensive real estate company, providing and managing properties across Japan, including our flagship brand of rental apartments, "S-RESIDENCE." series, guided by our corporate philosophy of "Morals, Passion, Challenges, and the realization of dreams," we have worked not only for the growth of our company but also to fulfill the dreams of all our stakeholders and everyone connected to our business, by enhancing urban environments.
Today, we embark on a new challenge. To response to the rapidly changing market and business environment, we will strive to enhance our corporate value from a mid- to long-term perspective by leveraging the investment capital, platform, and expertise of Hillhouse Investment Management to drive a fundamental transformation in our business model.
Specifically, we aim to shift away from our current reliance on capital gains and toward the establishment of a robust revenue base. We will pursue business expansion and increased efficiency through strategic M&A.
In addition, as Japan's housing sector continues to thrive, we will strengthen our position in this field and expand our nationwide fund management business, including the formation of real estate development and core funds.
This transformation of our business model is a crucial step for our group, for enabling us to expand our operations more sustainably while advancing the realization of our corporate philosophy.
Going forward, we will continue to adapt with flexibility in this rapidly changing market, transition to this new revenue model, and establish a solid position both domestically and internationally, thereby enhancing our corporate value.
